Christine + Stephen’s Wedding Highlights

What could be more fun than bright yellow at a wedding?  How about bright yellow balloons and a yellow school bus – a first for us to film!  We also had a very hungry bridal party that completely emptied an ice cream truck (that happened to be driving by) while we were filming the photo shoot down by the ocean.

Christine and Stephen were a fun couple to film for.  They were referred to us by past clients Melissa and Jeff, who’s wedding we filmed back in 2007.  You may remember them from their wedding trailer or their feature spread in WedLuxe Magazine.  It was great to see Melissa again as a guest, and Jeff as part of the wedding party.

We knew we were off to a fun start when just after filming some of the getting ready portion of the day, it was time for Steve to head over to try and “buy” Christine.  Let’s just say that the games that the bridesmaids required of the men are not suitable for the blog…  The guys handled it like troopers, eventually found the right price (even though they lost some of their dignity), and soon we were off to Cecil Green for a wonderful ceremony.  After the photo session with talented Vancouver wedding photographers Chris and Lynn Jaksa from Chris plus Lynn Photography, we were off to the reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver.
